About Chimera Entertainment

Chimera Entertainment is an independent developer for digital entertainment software which focuses on online gaming and cross platform development. The studio was awarded with the 2007 LARA Startup Award and has today more than 30 employees working in the heart of Munich. Since its founding in 2006, Chimera Entertainment has developed titles on five different platforms, including the browser MMOG “Warstory – Europe in Flames”, “Train Your Brain With Dr. Kawashima” and the iOS-Puzzlegame “Happy Hills”, which was awarded with “Best Handheld Game” at the German Developer Awards 2011. The browsergames „Skylancer – Battle for Horizon“ (Publisher: Pro7Sat.1 Digital) and „Mission Genesis“ (Publisher: dtp entertainment), as well as the PC puzzle game “Word Wonders” are currently in development.

The debut title “Windchaser” (PC) was published in May 2008, and was praised by the national press for its innovative and sophisticated game design. This was followed by several commissioned projects including „Train Your Brain With Dr. Kawashima“ (PC, Mac), „memory HD“, “Demolition Dash” and “Happy Hills” (all iPhone, iPad). In 2010, Chimera Entertainment released its first MMO browsergame: “Warstory – Europe in Flames” was developed with Silverlight and released in cooperation with Bigpoint.

The Munich based studio is working with a constantly growing and flexible team, and is experienced in the use of different middleware technologies. Chimera Entertainment is an official developer for Nintendo DS and Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation. Chimera Entertainment is currently working on different projects for PC, smartphones and console.
